Tourism In Newry

The 3 themes that I chose to display tourism in Newry are Sport, Religion and Seasons. The images below show the images that I took using a digital camera, images which I scanned and then the images that i created in Adobe Photoshop. There is also an explanation under each photo that I created in Adobe Photoshop which explains how the image was created.

 

Theme 1: Sport

In order to create this image i did the following in Adobe Photoshop:

1. Cropped the digital camera image;
2. Used the lasso tool to cut out the image of the 2 people playing football;
3. Dragged the cut out image of the 2 people playing football on to the scanned image;
4. Used the transform tool to make the people an appropriate size; 
5. I then added an artistic filter called fresco.

Theme 2: Religion

In order to create this image i did the following in Adobe Photoshop:

1. Slightly cropped the image of the man;
2. Used the quick selection tool to select the outline of the man;
3. Dragged the selected image of the man on to the church image;
4. Used the free transform tool to scale the image of the man to an appropriate size.  

Theme 3:Seasons

In order to create this image i did the following in Adobe Photoshop:

1. Used the background eraser tool to remove the background that was on the image of the tree;
2. Used the quick selection tool to select the outline of the tree;
3. Dragged the selected outline of the tree on to the image of the field;
4. I then added the title 'Seasons In Newry' used the horizontal type tool.
